- Hamburg beats Fremont-Mills 64-22
Junior Ryan Haupt carried the ball 22 times against the Knights of FM for 290 yards to lead the Wildcats to a decisive 64-22 Friday night. Five different players scored for the Wildcats. Rushing touchdowns were by R. Haupt, M. Lang, and R. Reeves. S. Carlock received a pass to score and also M. Tillman returned a punt for 32 yards for a touchdown. Kicker T. Martinez was 6 for 6 for PAT's. Two point conversions came from Haupt-1 rushing and C. Hendrickson-1 pass reception.
The Hamburg defense held FM to 148 rushing and 92 passing yards. Leading the way was noseguard S. Gundersen with 16 tackles followed by four other Wildcats with double-digit numbers in tackles also. They were 12-Lang, 11-Martinez, 11-Hendrickson, 10-Tillman. Next week the Wildcats play their rivals, the Sidney Cowboys at home.
